Next trio gig at the Chapter 12 Wine Bar in Hailsham

Chapter 12 Wine Bar in Hailsham, East Sussex

The trio will be playing at the Chapter 12 Wine Bar on Friday 6 November 2015 from 8.30pm to 11.00pm. This gig will have John Lake on piano as usual and feature two well established musicians on the local jazz scene  - Antoine Olivier on bass and Dean Morris on drums. Both musicians have played with John Lake in other band settings on many occasions, but this will be a first outing together as a change from the usual band personnel.

The evening will feature some of John Lake's original tunes from the 2013 CD Up on the Downs and from the band's forthcoming CD release Wave of Translation as well as some hand-picked jazz standards plus modern jazz compositions by Lars Jansson from Sweden.

Tables in the wine bar get booked up in advance on weekend nights so do book early to avoid disappointment. There is no cover charge or entrance fee but excellent food, wine and beers are served.
